Century Law offers comprehensive legal support with 8 intuitive pages, including daily legal news and efficient management of 5 key document types.

What should I bring to the first consultation?

Bring anything that helps us understand the matter: relevant documents, timelines, correspondence, court notices, and any contracts or policies involved. Nothing is required to schedule the call. We will tell you what else we need once we understand the situation.

How are fees handled?

Fee structure depends on the type of matter. Contingency arrangements are common in personal injury and bad faith cases, meaning we earn a fee only when you recover. Commercial and criminal matters are generally handled on an hourly or flat fee basis. We explain the arrangement in plain terms before any work begins.

How long will my case take?

It depends on the court, the complexity of the matter, and whether it resolves by negotiation or trial. Some matters close in a few months; others take more than a year. After our first conversation we give you a realistic timeline and keep you posted as the matter progresses.

What does attorney client privilege mean?

It means what you tell us in confidence stays confidential. We cannot disclose it without your permission, with very narrow exceptions the law defines. This protection begins the moment you speak with us, even before we formally represent you.

Will my case go to trial?

Most matters resolve before trial, but we prepare every case as if it will be tried. That readiness is often what makes a fair settlement possible. If trial is the right path, we are built for it and will not hesitate to take it.

How often will I hear from my attorney?

Regularly. You will hear from the partner handling your matter, not an associate or a coordinator. We send updates at meaningful milestones and respond to your questions directly, usually within one business day.

Do you offer remote consultations?

Yes. We consult by phone and video, and we meet in person at our Beverly Hills office when it makes sense. Whatever the format, you will speak with the lawyer leading your matter.

What practice areas does the firm handle?

Commercial litigation, insurance bad faith and catastrophic injury, criminal defense, professional license defense, and civil rights matters. If your situation is outside our focus, we will tell you and, where we can, refer you to counsel we trust.
